If you usually put on sun cream every time you go to the beach, it should be no different in your everyday life. Discover our advice and follow our tips!
Sun cream or SPF face cream?
Even though it does wonders for morale, the sun is far from being your skin’s best friend. Its UVA and UVB rays are harmful to skin, causing accelerated aging and the premature appearance of wrinkles. In other words: the sun is the main cause of skin aging.
To limit the risks, there’s only one thing to do: protect your skin with suitable products.
There are two types of face cream: sun care products and creams with SPF (Sun Protection Factor).
SUN CREAM: to be used whenever you’re exposed to the sun for an extended period of time.
At the beach, at a weekend barbecue or on the tennis court, that’s the product you need. It’s also the right product if your job requires you to spend your days outdoors.
You should apply a generous amount on our face, the equivalent of a teaspoon, and you also have to reapply it regularly, after swimming and after wiping yourself with a towel, for example.
CREAMS WITH SPF: to be used daily, as soon as the sun comes out.
This type of product has a dual purpose, it provides protection against sun rays while having specific benefits, such as moisturizing, firming and antipollution.
Therefore, SPF skin care should a part of your beauty routine. Apply every morning after your serum. It can replace your day cream. If you have dry skin, we recommend that you use your usual day cream and then apply the SPF product.
